If You Can't BEAT'em...............join 'em !!

I will be linking to Tablescape Thursday at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch.  Thank you, Susan, for hosting this event each week and allowing each of us to join in the FUN!  Click on the Thursday Tablescape link on the side of the page and be transported to a beautiful experience of tablescapes.

On this past Friday I was busy around the house entertaining my 13 year old grandson who happened to be here for the purpose of seeing an oral surgeon about some wisdom teeth.  All day Mr. B. had worked in and around the yard, doing a little planting and cleaning up from the winter.

About 6 o'clock in the evening, I knew he was in his office so I took his a little refreshment.  Walking into the room he asked me if I had seen "his" tablescape.  WHAT was he talking about????  Of course, I replied that I had not seen his tablescape and laughed.  He reponded that he was not kidding at all.  It seems that he has been watching me do the tablescapes for my blog and he decided to do one on the patio.  ( I must add that Mr. B. has never even set a table to assist me.....he helps in other ways).....I could hardly get to the patio fast enough.....running all the way, anxious to view "his" tablescape.

Here it is..........

Keep in mind that Mr. B. did all of this on his own....with no help, he purchased everything you see in each photo.  I was told that he did his shopping at Wal Mart.

"Perhaps imagination is only intelligence having fun."  ~George Scialabba

I must admit that Mr. B. did a very good job with his first (and probably his last) tablescape!  His choice of color, texture, design, and repetition was excellent, and  his intelligence let his imagination run wild and had tons of fun putting it all together.

Thank you ever so much for stopping by to visit.  It is always such fun for me to read your comments and get to know you a little better.  Come back any time and............

Have a great week and until next time.......Tea Party Everyday......why not?

I love your table setting and centerpiece. This really makes me feel as if summer is on the way. Our temperatures are supposed to drop 40 degrees overnight. This setting has me longing for the warm days of summer. I'd love to sit here with a tall glass of lemonade!

Boy have you got a keeper. He did a wonderful and loving thing. He had a good teacher. My grandson did the same for his wife and even cooked her dinner. Give him a hug for me lol

Maybe I could borrow Mr. B so he could teach my husband how to set a table right down to the centerpiece! He did a fabulous job, not only setting it, but purchasing those great dishes...he definitely is a keeper.
Have a great weekend, Phyllis!

Awe...how sweet this is and it just looks adorable!
I just went through some of your posts' and saw your Cranberry glass water goblets and they are lovely. I was unfamiliar with Cranberry glass or "Coin Dot" but I love the whimsy of it along with the spring flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by, lovely to meet you!
